Midnight Privacy Policy

Midnight is an AI voice advisor for founders, operated by Wild Ventures SL. This policy covers the website, waitlist, beta app, voice sessions, saved briefs, research notes, and agent connections, which let AI assistants you connect through MCP read your saved briefs and prepare calls for you. Apps you connect have their own privacy policies. For questions or privacy requests, email info@wildventures.nl.

Data we use

• Account data: name, email address, sign-in details, and beta status.
• Conversation content: live voice and transcript, typed messages, AI replies, and shared files, links, or screens.
• Saved work: briefs, research notes with sources, whiteboards, and limited context used to continue earlier conversations when you ask.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser details, usage, errors, security events, and agent connection access.

We use this data to run Midnight, manage access, create replies, briefs, and research notes, support users, secure the service, and comply with law. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising.

Where law requires a legal basis, we rely on our agreement with you, our legitimate interests, legal obligations, or your consent.

Voice, AI, and connected apps

Providers process content for live calls, transcription, AI replies and briefs, spoken audio, web research, sign-in, storage, hosting, and security. When you request or agree to web research, we send relevant queries, research questions, and public page URLs to our research provider. These may include information you shared in the conversation, such as a company or person's name.

Midnight does not save call audio or full transcripts. Audio recording and transcript upload to LiveKit are disabled. We do not save uploaded files or screen-share recordings, but saved work may refer to them. Providers may retain content they process and technical records as described below.

Retention differs by provider and by the type of data:

• LiveKit: carries your call. It does not retain live model inputs or outputs. Session logs and traces are kept for up to 30 days, with encrypted backups for up to 30 more. See LiveKit's Data Processing Addendum.
• Google Gemini: processes your live conversation, including your voice and anything you share, and creates post-call briefs. We use Google's paid service, under which Google does not use this content to improve its products. Google retains prompts and outputs for 55 days for abuse monitoring. See Google's abuse-monitoring policy and Gemini API terms.
• Parallel: processes web-research requests. Its terms set no fixed retention limit and allow some use for service improvement and model training. See Parallel's Customer Terms.

Provider contracts and account settings control retention and service-improvement use. We cannot promise zero retention or a blanket training exclusion.

An app you approve through an MCP connection can read saved briefs, their research notes including sources, the text on their whiteboards, and the calls connected apps prepared for you, but not call audio, full transcripts, or private system records. To end a connection, disconnect Midnight in that app. This does not delete copies the app already received.

A connected app can also prepare a call: it sends facts about an upcoming conversation, gathered from your other tools, which may include names and details of the people you will talk to. We show you what it sent before any call uses it. Material you don't start expires seven days after it arrives, and we delete expired material. When you start a call from it, it is used in that call and saved with the call's brief as a research note, and the brief keeps a reference to it.

We may share information when law requires it, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer.

Retention and your rights

We keep account data and saved work until you delete them or your account. We keep waitlist data until you join, ask us to remove it, or the waitlist closes. Provider, backup, support, and security records expire separately.

You can delete saved briefs from Briefs and delete your account in account settings. Deleting a brief also deletes its associated research notes and whiteboard. Account deletion removes your active profile, briefs, research notes, whiteboards, and continuity data. We keep a limited deletion record so delayed events do not restore your data. Law, security, or disputes may require us to keep some information longer.

Depending on local law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your data. You may also withdraw consent or complain to your data protection authority. Email us to make a request. We may verify your identity.

Midnight uses cookies and browser storage for sign-in, security, preferences, and session continuity, not advertising. Blocking them may stop required features.

Our providers process data in the United States. Where required, we use European Commission adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Contact us for details.

Midnight is for adults aged 18 or older. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service is completely secure. We will update this policy and give notice where law requires it.
